Iron & Steel
Iron is commonly found in the Earth’s crust in the form of an ore, however when iron is smelted from its ore, it contains more carbon than is desirable. To become steel, it must be reprocessed to reduce the carbon to the correct amount, at which point other elements can be added to make different types of steel.
These products are specified for etching Iron and steel, this includes; pure Iron, Carbon Steel, Low Alloy Steel, High Temperature Steels, Superalloys, Non-stainless Maraging Steels.
