This product is indicated for use in Cast Iron products, Carbon Steels, Alloy Steels, and Manganese Steels (200 Series).
Use by immersion at 20oC, the etching time can vary from 45 seconds up to 4 minutes long depending upon the sample matrix; Cadmium and Zinc coatings will inhibit staining.
This solution remains active for 2-4 hrs, discard the solution when yellow.
