A suitable product for revealing the general structure of Titanium-Manganese (Ti-8Mn) alloy, Titanium-Vanadium-Chromium (Ti-13 V-11 Cr-3 Al (aged)) alloy and Titanium alloys.
This products is specified in ISO16060: Destructive tests on welds in metallic materials — Etchants for macroscopic and microscopic examination.
As a micro-etch for Aluminium & Aluminium Alloy products, use 3μm diamond or finer and swab or immerse sample for less than 5 seconds.
