This product can be used in one of two ways;
- Immerse for 1 to 3 minutes at 50’C (120’F).
- Electrolytic at 1 to 8 Volts for 5 to 10 seconds.

This product is used by immersion to reveal the phases of 2000 & 3000 series Aluminium. It is also used by immersion to reveal the general structure of 5000 series Aluminium and the general structure and phases of 6000 series Aluminium products.
It is also used electrolytically to reveal the general structure of Admiralty Metal, Gilding Metal, Cartridge Brass and Free-Cutting Brass.
